RATM Christmas #1

For those who bought a copy, they won.

Donated their proceeds to charity and they asked Cowell to do the same. I'm happy.

Couldn't it be any better band?
Why on earth RATM?
When the stars lose their fine
And night steals the morning away
Forever and a day
I will stay, I will stay here with you my love

Killing in the Name is a great Christmas song.

Spoiler:

It's not a real goose, it's only a picture of one.

This is a fantastic change from the normal sort of music you get for christmas no1 (big Rage fan  )

I also think it's kinda funny that they asked Cowell to donate as well, I hope he's sporting enough to do so.

Fudgecicles.

You guys realise this is a stupid ass "campain"? Killing in the Name probably representes "the death of music" more than any pop song;

**** you I won't do what you tell me [x17 SEVENTEEN!]
****!
Ugghh!

And it goes to Cowell anyways. Surely, it should have been a talented band? It's stupid. I hate Christmas and pop songs (mostly) as much as the next metalhead. But RATM? Seriously? SERIOUSLY?

It's just publicity.

The above poster has obviously only listened to Killing in the Name and Bulls on Parade via the Guitar Hero series. Therefor he has absolutely no chance of redeeming himself, ever. Thank you, and good night.

Sorry, I accidentally swapped "song" for "band" half way through.

Yes, I am only judging the one song, not the band - I haven't listened to them.

What?? They didn't start the campaign nor did they keep the money for themselves as it went to needy people. Yup sounds real stupid to me. Also it gives non-pop music fans a chance to bring non-pop music to the charts (if you like ratm or not, and even if you don't care about charts, pop fans do) other than some karaoke singer who will only be popular for less than a year.

And whats this death of music crap?

I'm probably one of the most extreme metalheads here and I love Christmas.

So, in conclusion, your argument that "I hate christmas as much as every other metalhead" is false. Judging by the music I listen to, I should hate anything relating to "Christ" unless the word "rape, f*ck" ect. are in the same sentence.

Well, It is true they are donating it to charity. I still stand by though, as it is just for publicity IMO. Also, "the death of music" is just a phrase meaning "popular music which is so **** it proves people have no taste in music". I don't believe it, but, what I said.

BTW, I don't hate Christmas, just Christmas SONGS.
