So, have you seen it yet?
I saw it today and it was pretty good. And the part where the guy in exoskeleton pulled out a knife was pretty cool

Looks good... is it?
yeah it looks really good. Seems like we're getting close to a point where you can't really say what's computer-made and what's not

Re: Avatar
Nope. I think this is one of the more retarded movies i've seen trying to pass itself off as an action flick.
Can we get this forum going again?
Re: Avatar
They seem to be blowing it way out of proportion. I'd rather take the Jama method with movies like these; not expect much but end up thoroughly impressed.

Re: Avatar
I asked my friends how it was when they just finished watching it in 3D.
"**** YEAH AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
I'm watching it on Sunday. End of story.

I'm quite sick of all this 3D nonsense.
dude, it's not like cheap-disney-kid-movie 3D, it's 3D in a way that actually enhances the movie to draw you in and make the world more immersive.
@raptor and qwedge: the concept itself may be kinda stupid, but the movie might be well-made enough to surpass it. :D *will report back tomorrow afternoon with what he thought*

Re: Avatar
Yeah I know but it all just seems like a cheap hoax. I know 3D technology has greatly improved and all, but if all movies are going to start being in 3D then we're going to have a problem.

James Cameron hyped the **** outta of this movie for a good 2 years. I saw the trailer and thought District 9 looked better on a cheaper budget, but I haven't seen it yet so I'm probably wrong.
