Drum Kit Builder
So, I found an excellent Kit Builder that gives you a realistic over view of the set you create. It has almost all of the good brand name cymbals. It could use some more Pedals, but it has a lot of cool stuff. Here's the download.
Here are some pics!
My current kit. If you're wondering, the no name cymbals are Verve Pro.
One of my dream kits. I don't know what most of the cymbals sound like, but I've heard most of these Paiste cymbals, and they are epic.

Re: Drum Kit Builder
I'm considering buying a real drum kit real soon.
How much does your current drum kit cost as it is right now?

Re: Drum Kit Builder
When I got it for Christmas it was, according to my mom, 400-500 bucks. It's 270 here. That link has a picture of whats included. If you're wondering the cymbals are no brand, and very ****, especially the crash. The Hi-Hat stand isn't to great either, but everything else is excellent for a beginner kit.
The second stand and ride cymbal was something I bought off of a friend for 60 bucks. Another 50 I think for the Hi-Hats (from the same friend.) The crash on the left was like 70 bucks or something. I got it from Guitar Center. Also, the double bass pedals were 100.
Now that dream kit, I don't even know where to start.
Edit: Here's what the Gammon set looks like out of the box. I forgot the Kick Pedal though.

Re: Drum Kit Builder
Travis Smith's set. (Trivium)
Taking obsession that extra mile.
His set looks like my dream set without the extra Hi-Hat and with different cymbals.

Re: Drum Kit Builder
Well, I have no idea how the program works. I downloaded both links, they worked fine. It might be your computer, I don't know.
Sorry.
Edit: Moose's Old Kit (Bullet)
Very rough sketch of The Rev's kit. A lot of his cymbals weren't in the program, and I was too lazy to add them. Most of the toms are the wrong sizes also. Oh well.

Sorry.
I figured it out. You don't click the "KitConstructor.jar". You click the "StartKC.bat".
