Oh yes! game is awesome...

Penumbra scared the crap out of me, Cryostasis was very creepy, Silent Hill 1, 2 and 0 (haven't finished any of those 3 yet, but i'm seriously working on 0)

Tag, Hide and Go Seek...

Wait, you said scared, not scarred?

Same ones apply.

Animal Crossing.
Resetti is horrifying when he pops up. Just thinking about it gives me nightmares.
I am too lazy to come up with a decent signature. So if you are reading this, I'm not giving you any time of your life back.

Nice thread necromancery but whatever.

Both Penumbras and Amnesia were scary, Amnesia had the single most scary sections but overall Penumbra Black Plague was the best.

As for jump scares, some of Eternal Darkness' sanity effects and Vampire's raptor were the most effective.

Old thread is old, but it inspired me to download some games, so I guess it's food.

You remember Dino Crysis for the psone? You walk into a random room, loot a closet or something, and while walking back to the door A HUGE FRIGGIN T-REX COMES IN THROUGH THE WINDOW TO SAY HELLO

EDIT I just noticed my typo, but I like it, so I won't change it. deal with it.

Resident Evil 0, I was not prepared for the zombie locked in the fridge.
Also in RE5, Lost in Nightmares. I got all tense when you have to kill like 6 of the big monsters so I jumped everytime I walked through one of those hidden zombies.

I am still playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. I don't know how old this thread is, but keep that in mind as I ponder what I am doing with my life.

I beat that game for the first time a few weeks ago.

Tons of fun.
