Re: Swine flu
Swine flu isn't even that bad and people are still scared and all that crap.
Regular flu(or whatever you wanna call it) kills over 20,000 Americans every year. Swine flu won't even get that close by the end of the year. Nobody is scared from a serious disease, but a minor disease is scarier for some reason

Re: Swine flu
Because it is outlandish, people have never heard of it. Humans naturally fear the unknown. If it sounds like it crawled from a dark, musky hole in the Earth, people are gonna freak out. That is why most people are deathly afraid of Paula Abdul.

Nice sig
I have no idea where I said that
Re: Swine flu
Just to say, the world is scared of Swine Flu, not because of the deadliness, but because of the infectiousness of the disease. Imagine two thirds of the population confined to beds and hardly anybody will be left to run businesses. And imagine that there won't be enough hospitals to properly care for patients, thus increasing the death toll. Not to mention that the high number of infected would already increase the number of deaths already.

I never considered that. Another reason why girls can't be on the Internet. They would have too many good points and we would all look stupid.

Re: Swine flu
warhol's right - it doesn't seem so deadly, just easily spread. It's time for everyone to wear surgical masks everywhere!
jk, my friend did that and he had to go to counselling because they thought he had a disease which makes you think you have a disease, but you don't have said disease.
Over 150 people have it hear in New Zealand, but the Ministry of Health said that it's not as bad as what they first thought (everyone has high expectations these days).

They aren't smart, everyone else is just dumb. It doesn't make us look stupid, for we already are stupid.
