Currently, it's a tie between No Remorse by Metallica, Painkiller by Judas Priest, and The Move by the Beastie Boys.
There is no need to be upset.

The Call of Ktulu by Metallica

I love the whole structure of the song, it's amazing.

New favourite song time,
Leper Messiah-Metallica (Thrash)
One of their great, underrated songs. Great breakdown, structure and an awesome, yet simple solo. Great bad*ss riffage too.

I've actually been working on the solo for Leper Messiah because it has simple sweeps at the very beginning of it. Sweep Picking is my only down fall when it comes to guitar. WHY MUST YOU BE SO RETARDED HANDS?!

Well, i found when i first started out, when i couldnt sweep pick properly, that you can just hit the notes of the arpeggio on the E string and then hammer-on the notes on the B and G, you get roughly the same effect as sweeping and it's a lot easier, so, for example:
e|--19p15------15-19p15------15---20p17-------17-20p17-------17-22p19-------|
B|-------17--17--------17--17-----------18--18---------18--18---------20--20|
G|---------16------------16---------------17-------------17-------------19--|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Pick the 19 on the E and pull off, hammer-on 17 on the B, 16 on the G and back to 17 on the B and then hammer-on the 15 on the E. Repeat and move up to the next position in the solo.

As I'm learning to play guitar, Tears Don't Fall (Intro) and Metalingus are fun to play.

Drumwise, I enjoy playing different things at different times. I Hate Everything About You (Three Days Grace) was fun last week. I always have fun playing Hearts Burst Into Fire.

Of course, once I get my double bass pedal (within the next month) it will likely be a Trivium or Bullet song.

Master of Puppets is fun on guitar.
I am too lazy to come up with a decent signature. So if you are reading this, I'm not giving you any time of your life back.

My favorite songs at the moment are pretty much everything by The Fall of Troy.
I've got every single album, and not one song is out of place.
They're all just perfect

I guess no one explained that this was to discuss songs you like to play on instruments...

I have so many songs that I like, It'd be very hard to pick just one.

I currently play guitar, drums, bass, and piano/keyboard, and I guess the song that I'm liking at the moment would have to be a tie between You Only Live Once by The Strokes, Airbag by Radiohead, Geek USA by Smashing Pumpkins, and So Here We Are by Bloc Party.

Gee, now that I look at it, those are really soft songs. Definitely not the usual.
