First off, that first FG that Pittsburgh got on its first drive shoulda been a touchdown. It was an AWFUL call by the refs.
Second, The 100 yd interception WAS a TD. The ball never hit the ground, his arms did. So the call was correct.
Third, you're right; the Steelers did not win this game; but the refs did not win it for them either. Arizona just flat out self-destructed after halftime. They were constantly committing stupid fouls that allowed the Steelers to take advantage. It just showed that the Cardinals were not ready for this game; Mostly because they should not have been in this game.
Fourth, When Arizona went from 7 points to 23 points; that's when Pittsburgh decided, "Oh, this is too easy. Let's them back into the game. How 'bout we commit a bunch of stupid fouls too." It was dumb playing, which allowed Arizona to take the lead.
Fifth, That last drive by the Steelers was incredible. That TD catch was UNBELIEVABLE. Reminded me of a Brady/Moss pass. That was true skill on both ends of the play.
Lastly, Pittsburgh deserved to win this game. Truthfully, Arizona never had a chance. EVEN though they were favorites, EVEN though most analysts and experts chose them; they NEVER had a shot at winning this game. Pittsburgh is a better team, with a better record, that had a better season, with more wins against a tougher conference. While Arizona was lucky to be the in the playoffs; lucky they beat Philadelphia with that AWFUL NFL OT Rule; lucky to have beaten Carolina; and lucky to even be in the playoffs. Truth is, that Arizona was an awful team that somehow made the Superbowl.
