Vista does not suck. It simply does not have the compatibilty with older stuff the same way XP didn't have as good compatibilty with older stuff and same with ME, 98, ect. Things go out of date. If you use Vista as much as I have (on a computer set up to run it properly), you'll see how grossly outdated XP is.

He's using Rocket Dock.

Yeah, that's a good program. I use WindowBlinds (That's how I got the dragon on the start menu on my picture, it moves and breathes fire and all that stuff).

I knew that was WindowBlinds because I had used that theme at one point :P (I don't use WindowBlinds anymore because my laptop is cheaptasic [pretty old and weak]).

Naw, it's just AWN at the bottom there. For the top bar I just changed the back to a little tileable image I made in 2 seconds.

What lag? I've never had either issue with speed on Vista. I actually just installed XP on a separate HD for my laptop (after using Vista for about a year) and I'm going to test it to truly compare the two. I've already noticed several issues but I'm not going in to that now. I make own thread later after I fully test it.

Windows 7 is not 'the better version of Vista', It's a completely different version of Windows! 7 has about as much in common with Vista, as 2000 had with 95, or XP with 2000, or Vista with XP. See my point?

Sorry, but I'm going to have to correct that.

Windows 7 is a progression of the Windows line of operating systems. There are things in common between all of them, even 95 and 7. Things progress, improvements are made, but it's still Microsoft Windows.

Vista was the "better" version of XP.

XP was the "better" version of 2000.

And it goes back like that, as these things have progressed.

The only visual thing that changed between XP and 2000 was the colour and stability. They still remained mighty similar.

They all have one thing in common: A **** ass explorer that is always buggy. I don't know why Microsoft can't fix the main thing that makes it windows!
