A topic about scarves.

Postby jake2k3 » Thu Dec 18, 2008 8:44 pm

Hello everyone.
It's getting quite cold here in most of the northern hemisphere, which means it's time for warmer clothing. I bought a scarf today, and absolutely love it. I was wondering, what do you guys (and ladies) think of scarves? Like 'em? Hate 'em? Got a favorite scarf? Do you prefer long scarves or short ones? Basically, this is a discussion about scarves and everything about them.

And... go. :D

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

I have one wrapped around my head as we speak. It's mighty cold over here, and therefore I am not using it for the normal purpose, since my neck is not cold. My ears however, are another story.

Pics of scarves?

I honestly don't like wearing scarves, I let my hood or my collar jacket take of care of my neck.

I haven't taken a picture with mine yet, but here's one from Taget's website of it:

The only difference is that mine is grey on the back, not red.

It gets kinda cold here, but I don't wear scarves. They annoy me. I love this topic.

I hate you. I lived there not too long ago. Loved the warm.

Now I live in middle of **** nowhere Montana, where we have 2 1/2 feet of snow and -45 degree temps. Yes, I have a scarf.

Do not have a scarf.

My neck doesn't get cold, usually.

Also, doesn't snow very much in Massachusetts... except for today.

Spoiler:

It's not a real goose, it's only a picture of one.

I was wrong... maybe

I live in Minnesota, so scarves are usually useful. I don't use one for two reasons...
1) They usually don't keep out the wind when it get's real vicious.
2) For the short time they stay up, I end up fogging up my glasses by breathing through it.

So not very helpful to me.
