Actually half black half white = Half cast man. Simple as that! The "colour scale" works like this. Black man, Half cast man, Quarter cast man, White man!
oh and just coz somebody is black and lives in the states does NOT make them african american. Thats like saying all asian men living in america are indian american. African American is just the USA's politically correct term for a black fellow. What if he comes from jamaica tho, you call a Rasta an african and he will cut your damn head off for it!
