Omg! Finally! A speed run thread!
I have a memory card on my PSX with tons of Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 saves. I beat RE3 in 1:34 (1 hour, 34 minutes) with the handgun only. Then I beat it in 1:28 just going through.
My RE1 and RE2 times aren't that great, but they're still below 2 hours for each scenario.
I beat Megaman X6 on PSX in a couple of hours. That game is ******* HARD. Sigma is so unfair.
I got some good times on Goldeneye on N64 back in the day.
I don't have too many speed runs really. Just RE games. I know them like the back of my hand.
EDIT: Forgot Castlevania COTM and The Tony Hawk series. I usually go through the THPS games in less than 2 hours, and Castlevania is really easy to beat when you know the DSS trick.
Oh, and Super Mario Bros. Beat that in about 7 minutes. 5 minutes is the best in the world I think.
I guess Super Metroid would go here. Beat it with 5 energy tanks with Spazer, Wave, Ice beam and grav suit. Ridley is a ***** to beat without missiles.
I'll prolly remember more soon.

I speed ran a Pokemon once (took a couple hours). I also did a Tekken (1 1/2 hours for all characters unlocked) speedrun and a Tony Hawk 2 (forget how fast it was). I saw a speedrun of mario 64 in under 7 minutes.

I'm partial to the Tool-Assisted Speedruns: http://tasvideos.org This is where the REAL records are made.
Please don't bother saying that they're "cheating" or "cheap." Read the WhyAndHow page first.

I've done a speed run of KHI in about 18 hours, got high level, beat all optional bosses, I didn't bother finding every little bonus keyblade except for oblivion, didn't finish with ultima weapon, but still it was good.
Fastest I got through streets of rage was 1 hour and sonic & knuckles 1.5 hours.
I hate how some many games pack so many side quests and stretch out the story forcing you to travel taking up 12 hours of your game time right there, we need more simple games, but not as simple as the wii games.

My first time beating that game, I couldn't stop playing it.. On my 20th or so time playing it, I finished in a little over 4 hours.. I think it got to the point where I could finish the game, start to finish, in one sitting.
