Here's my reviews!
The Suffering - Not scary at all, only the occasional jump from the sound effects, the rest is gore, but a competent game.
Fatal Frame - Excellent game series, and not as obscure as you may think, at least not here...
Silent Hill - F*ck yeah Silent Hill! Awesome all around. The first one on the PS is a master-piece. Awesome sounds and camera effects. Also, kinda foggy.

Vedicardi, I seem to remember The Suffering on PC. "Buy" it.

I went to gamestop and found the first for 16 bucks, but when I went to get it they said they didn't have it and the box was a mistake... then I found it somewhere else and it was 40, so I'm still looking for a cheaper copy

Maybe I should sell mine :p .

Here are a few more Survival Horror games that I've played...

"Area 51"(PC, XBOX)Was good too. Not terrifying but it had some scare and suspense moments.

"The Thing"(PC, Xbox)Takes place just after the events of the 1982 John Carpenter movie.

"Fear Effect"(PSX)Awesome graphics considering the platform.

"Dino Crisis"(PSX, Dreamcast, PC) I believe there are a few sequals to this one. It's from Capcom so it's very similar to "Resident Evil."

EDIT: Oops, the move "The Thing" was "82." BTW, I recomend watching it. I have to watch it every time it's on TV myself. It was the originator of many of the cliché's you see now in movies in the same vein.

**** yes!

And yes to Silent Hill.

Project Zero (the EU name for FF... I know, we're pansies sometimes) is a good game. Sucks that I can't find it anywhere that's convenient.

Project zero is the name of the developers, isn't it?

Judging by the "Project Zero presents" screen :-p

Edit: and RexMundi, why was there no Condemned in that list? Both are beastly!

Like uh, if you want scary games try

FEAR - PC, 360, PS3 - Very much suspense horror, very little "OH MY GOD THAT POPPED OUT IN FRONT OF ME" more "OH **** **** WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT" Great gameplay

Penumbra Series - PC - Seriously the ******* scariest thing I've ever played or experienced. Nothing but actually playing it does it justice.

Condemed: Criminal Origins - PC, 360, maybe PS3 - This game is seriously so scary I haven't had the guts to beat the last level

Dude, you have to. The ending is so weird and sets up the sequel, which you should also play :D

Haha, wait, that's not the last level. You need to go through the processing plant AFTER the house. That's fun. Have you *spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler* yet? or have you not even started the house level?

Keep going, it's awesome. Don't worry, I'm a wuss too :p took me a while to muster up the courage to play through. When I tried to go back and play it again, I can't... I played through it all the way on my friend's 360 then got it for PC, and haven't gotten past the school on that one

Never played it. But since you guys make it sound good, I'll keep my eyes open for a PC version on the cheap.
