I can see it now... There's going to be Rick Astley in Rock Band 2.

Wrong. Harmonix (developer) and Redoctane (publisher) both did GH1 and GH2. Red Octane made the hardware (controllers), etc. as well as owned the naming rights to GH. Red Octane was then bought out by activision, who had neversoft develope GH3 (since they had the defacto naming rights to GH, DH, BH, etc)

Harmonix, who had all the code, continued by making RB (which is why RB plays more like GH1/2)

Check out this mega awesome kickass screenshot:

Alright, either way, the point is that Harmonix was responsible for the meat and potatoes of the original game. You know, everything but the controller and the name.

I don't really know how its possible to fret a drum part badly. You've got to screw up pretty bad.

If you think GH4 will be better because it has harder songs for drums, you don't know what you are talking about and probably have never played Rock Band.

I HAVE played rock band and I enjoy the drums on it, but I still think GH4 drums will be more fun because they will offer a lot more challenging and different drum beats, like Dream Theater. I think Dream Theater drums would be insanely fun, and definitely beats 29 fingers.
Plus you can't say Rock Band has better drum fretting when you haven't played GH4's yet.

YOU'RE stupid

...I just realised. Technically GH4 has the much-wanted '6th fret'... for drums only, mind.

Yeah I thought about that too. Six buttons for drums...
And they mentioned open fret for bass guitar...

Maybe this means a possible 6th fret in guitar?

"Stay with Rock Band"
Have you seen the World Tour Drum set? It looked like a Ripoff-Preschool toy. Tragic.

Many people just keep saying GH4 stole the drums from rock band. Technically they did, to be able to compete with RB. But then again RB more than likely stole the drums from another game, and that game possibly stole it from another game etc so there is no real thing to say about such 'stealing'.

Btw, it would have been more better if Neversoft and Harmonix (So in other words Guitar hero and Rock band) would fuse with each other. If their powers combine they could create a game with lots of high quality songs, great graphics and all instruments. Cuz as I see it, they now sort of try to beat each other using almost the same type of gameplay but different songs...

Well, from the few previews I've done, I'm not trying to be a die-hard GH fan or anything, but GH: World Tour is taking everything that's in Rock Band and making it better.

The only thing that Rock Band does better, is even though GH: World Tour is going to have a career similar to Rock Band's Band World Tour mode, Rock Band's is still going to be more in depth in terms of your band getting stars and fans, and such.

Other than that, though, GH: World Tour is going to be more advanced, and another thing.... it's not supposed to be watered down for PS2 and Wii like Rock Band was (which is what kept me from getting Rock Band for the PS2, because it just made the game worse than GH3)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that GH: World Tour is having waaay more realistic controllers, and the Create a Song, in which you can customize it so deeply, that you can decide exactly how each instrument in it sounds, except no vocals, but that's because of some kind of legal issues, I don't really know what, though.

May I say, that if GH4 has drums guitar and bass, plus custom songs and is a RockBand rip off

What is FoF.

I don't think Neversoft should have gone RockBand because Guitar Hero is called Guitar Hero.

Also May I say that twice I've had supreem Ignorance about the GH franchise, from the same person.

"Ow Mush, have you seen the new drum hero 4@ (He's a drummer) I'm like "There wasn't a first one"
AND Today.
"Yay I played Through the Fire and Flames on Expert 50" He honestly thought practice mode was a difficulty,
(He really said all this in Welsh, which was much funnier)
Oh well.
