idk, it could. I read a few articles about it on gh.com and other sites and it says you can upload it from your mp3 player?

Harmonix does it right and Activision is making a really stupid move in my opinion by trying to copy their idea (after buying out one of their best ones). Anybody with half a brain, when confronted by the choice of an original or a knock-off is always going to get the original.

But then there's a small problem.

Guitar Hero came first, so wouldn't it chronologically be considered the original?

Guitar Hero, GH2, and GH80s were created by Harmonix. They sold the rights to the game to Activision, who released GH3 (Which, while still good, wasn't as good as GH2, IMO). Harmonix did so to work on their pet project, Rock Band, which Activision is now ripping off.

Wrong. Harmonix (developer) and Redoctane (publisher) both did GH1 and GH2. Red Octane made the hardware (controllers), etc. as well as owned the naming rights to GH. Red Octane was then bought out by activision, who had neversoft develope GH3 (since they had the defacto naming rights to GH, DH, BH, etc)

Harmonix, who had all the code, continued by making RB (which is why RB plays more like GH1/2)

You're stupid

NO U

Seriously though, we don't know how good the non-guitar frettings will be for GHWT...

So saying one's fretting sucks more ass than the other is stupid, IMO.

Very little details are known. We'll see how it works out, my guess is it's going to be really dumb midi crap

I don't really know how its possible to fret a drum part badly. You've got to screw up pretty bad.

If you think GH4 will be better because it has harder songs for drums, you don't know what you are talking about and probably have never played Rock Band.

I was also talking about bass and vocals too, but you're right about badly-fretted drum parts... (ugh, three-drum 'chords'?)

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.
