What are you getting? - Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3

Im getting rock band. The only reason i think anyone would get guitar hero 3 is because its cheaper or The Overrated Slash is in the game.

My friends and I will be getting both, GH3 first due to release date and Rockband probably some time next year.
I'm looking forward to both, GH3 has a lot of good songs but Rockband holds big hopes since we will be able to play all together (sometimes we are four people), and also have some variation in instruments which my best friend is looking forward to a lot.

I'm getting both (GH3 for Wii , and Rock Band for my PS3 I'm (hopefully) getting for christmas)

I favor Rock Band though because I think Activision is ruining a great series with stupid things like "Power ups" and "Boss Battles" , whilst I can see the guitar duels sort-of working out, the power ups are just retarded and are ruining the experience of actually playing guitar.

At first I thought you said Rock band or Halo 3? But since it's Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero 3, I'd get GH3. And if it were any consolation, I'd also choose Halo 3 over Rock Band. Cause I don't have a friggin Xbox 360. I'll shut up now.

reason 3: GH3 is on PC as well. hence, i (personally) am getting GH3. i am going to force my friend to get Rock Band though, especially now that i found out they put in Flyleaf :p
