I have recently discovered that we are not the only victims of the limb-breakageness of DragonForce music! Our distant relatives in the rhythm game spinoff family are now suffering also! (I speak, of course, of StepMania and other DDR clones).
For example: My friend has StepMania and downloaded THIS version of Cry For Eternity (accompanied by various other DragonForce Songs) and attempted to play it on his dance pad. To illustrate, I shall put it mathematical terms: Him=Fail+Broken Feet.
And please don't flame me for mentioning DDR on this forum. I hate it as much as anyone else does because I'm terrible at it.
We are not alone!

I wouldn't go that far. It has its OK points... all of which escape me at the moment.
Also...does Elmo REALLY know where I live?!

Meh, I think DDR is a great game, and it's good for the arcades. Sure I suck at it, but hating it just seems a little irrational to me. It's not like it beat you up and stole your lunch money in grade school, it's a game.
Great video, by the way. Your friend is talented.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.

i personally like StepMania. i don't see why FoF/GH people don't like it.... it's fun IMO. no, it's nothing like real dancing, but why should the idiots who play fake guitar with a keyboard/mini plastic guitar be dissing the people who dance by tapping arrows?

yes and no. yes, you can just use the arrow keys, and some songs are designed for that (utterly completely impossible to pad) but you can also hook a dance pad up to it similar to the way you can hook up a GH guitar to play FoF with.

DDR pwned in the day. What other rhythm/Bemani games were there back then that were easily available in the US?. No other game before (that I recall) let you feel the music in way other than through a little controller in your hands.
