Ugh, HP advisor.

The shop I work in sells HP's, but we always remove their Norton and HP Advisor sh!t. We usually replace it with AVG.

Uninstall it. Vista really doesn't need any form of virus protection like that. I've been runing without only Windows Defender and Windows Firewall and haven't had a SINGLE issue since I got it a year ago.

You must be just a safe browser then.

Uninstall Norton, definitely, but at the very list let Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, and AVG do their things.

I've seen plenty of Vista Machines taken to shi!t for not having Virus safety.

I think it's way better than vista. basically they took the good things from vista, like it's sweet look. and added some sweet things like the snippet tool.
