One thing that does **** me off, not sure if I already said this here, is all the people saying now black kids have a role model. Can they not have a role model who was white? Why do they have to look up to someone of their own race? Isn't that a racist remark? People are idiots. I can almost bet that at least 30%-40% of the votes for Obama were only because they wanted a black person as president just so he'll be the first ever. Why the hell are we dissecting the race of Barack Obama. If Obama's win taught us anything, it's that race doesn't matter.

This isnt how I think, but maybe race still does matter, considering Palin was in the race as well.
Prejudice people had to pick the lesser of two evils in their mind... a black person in the white house, or a woman.
Maybe people are just as prejudice as they have always been, but would rather see a men in the white house vs. women.

Once again, that is not how I look at things, but I feel that prejudices (spelling?) is just as strong as ever.
And people that say that it is not as strong now a days, do not understand that it will never go away
