Damn, this reminds me of sooo many years ago.

----

Also,
Disney XD is a brand of children's TV channels worldwide targeting mainly towards young males,

I'm a young male, and it does not appeal to me.

Disney sucks, they've taken over our "Jetix", and now there's no more Pokemon on the TV. Come on, I want to watch my Pokemon!

I gave up on Pokemon after the 3rd generation (Gold, Silver, etc., basically the Johto region)... it got pretty unoriginal after that.

But on topic: My sister told me about the show today and said that she thought I'd like it.

I lol'd so hard. But she's young, what are you going to do.

Well they gotta pick one or the other, it doesn't work out well combining the two audiences.

Gold/Silver is classified as 3rd generation, though logically, it should be the 2nd. Green/Red are the 1st generation (Japanese release), though Red/Blue are often referred to as 1st generation as well, but can also be considered 2nd gen. Yellow is considered 2nd gen, and I can't explain that. Then you have 3rd generation, which is Gold/Silver/Crystal.

We're way off topic. :P @Kermit, hahaha. That's so true.

R/B/G/Y are all the same generation. It's all the same story (mostly) and same pokemon.

I know... But everywhere I've seen, they split them up due to the Japanese/American releases. Didn't make sense to me.

Doesn't mean it's a new generation, they just had different release schedules.

Green is the say thing as Blue is the same thing as Red and is almost the same thing as Yellow. Japan just had Green instead of blue. It's not a different generation.

I guess Yellow would be classified as second gen since it introduces a small change in the story wherein you can get squirtle, charmander, and bulbasaur, instead of choosing only one. What gen is the fire-red and leaf-green then?

But it still is the same generation of pokemon. Would you classify Leaf Green and Fire Red as another generation? What about platinum? Also, is Heart Gold and Soul Silver going to be yet another generation?
