Reactivated seminal technical metal pioneers ATHEIST and Atlanta, Georgia's GNOSTIC - the band featuring three members of ATHEIST - have both signed with France's Season Of Mist.

Commented ATHEIST/GNOSTIC drummer Steve Flynn: "We're absolutely thrilled that both GNOSTIC and ATHEIST are officially signed to Season of Mist! GNOSTIC's debut CD, 'Engineering the Rule', will be released before the summer and ATHEIST's yet-untitled CD will be released later in the year.

Things are coming along on the atheist front. I'm excited as ****.

Green Day's new album will be titled "21st Century Breakdown" and can already be pre-ordered online. Apparently, the album will be divided in 3 different acts: "Heroes and Cons", "Charlatans and Saints" and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades". Looking forward to this one.

I preordered it months ago, but temptation got the best of me, and I've gotta say, not too shabby.

Eh, American Eulogy was a highlight for me, along with the glorias. I expected more, but got a sound completely opposite of what I expected. It's almost as if Dookie bent American Idiot over a bench and made it it's little b!tch. Seriously. It's a culmination of the highlights from both sounds.

I do like the silence = enemy and religion undertones.

All I'm saying is Know Your Enemy is unbelievably bad. Gives the RATM song a bad name XD

I guess I still need to check out the rest of the album, but I'm much more a fan of the faster, rockabilly influenced "The Living End" type stuff in comparison to the pop influence feel of Green Day.

I must admit that I was a sucker for American Idiot when it came out. I did find it incredibly odd that no one really started listening to it where I lived until a year after it came out though. Weird stuff.
