Must-have apps?

OK, I got myself some hipster phone (HTC) and after the obvious google maps, whatsapp etc I'm looking for other must have apps. Preferably cheap/free apps, as you all know the Dutch are cheap as hell.
And if anyone knows a good RPG for smartphones, please tell! I'm thinking of buying Crusade of Destiny, anyone played that? And is "Zenonia 3" any good?

All versions of Angry Birds are free, those are pretty fun IMO. Also, Stupid Zombies is fun, some say it's like Angry Birds, but it feels quite a bit different to me. If you like puzzle games, there is "Jewels", a BeJewled rip off.

Nah, I'm "computer illiterate" (thank you google translate), sane goes for phones. I'm just looking for something to kill time in the train etc. If I want to play psx games I'll just use my psx (shocking, I know).

I have HTC Desire Z and some apps that I frequently use:

Alarmdroid - Alarm clock doesn't get any better than this
Dolphin browser HD - In my opinion better than the stock browser
Handcent Sms - Better than the stock sms software
Ebuddy - one of the best messenger apps
Task killer - Not really required but it comes in handy sometimes
Flash player - If you don't yet have then download it, must have when browsing the web
Photobucket - Lets you upload your pictures to photobucket with one push of a button, very handy
Speed Test - Nice app for testing download and upload speeds
Tiger snes and tiger gba - In my opinion the best snes and gba emulators available
Tunewiki - If you enjoy reading the lyrics of a song this is an app for you. Also a decent music player
Weatherbug - Shows all sorts of information about weather but main reason for me is that it shows the temperature in the notification bar.

Some good games are Angry birds of course, Drag Racing, Gun Bros and Jet Car Stunts

Some apps may not be available depending on your phone model. It's difficult to find good apps for lower end phones such as wildfire.
