It will take place on a festival, so I'm a bit critical. Firstly, their won't be enough place for their gear, it will be I guess at max 1 hour long and the amplification will be horrible if I'm not lucky...

But, to embarass all of you, the fee for that day on the festival is only $15 HAHAHA! :2thumbsup:
I bet none of you have seen DT on such low price.

Saw Devin Townsend Project with Anneke van Griesbergen and Shining (NOR) yesterday. Both were great, especially Shining, but unfortunately the venue was horrible and everything sounded like crap. Would go to see both again if they played somewhere else.

Apart from that, I have never been in a concert.

I was there too. Everything sounded like crap to be honest. :/ - Also, I couldn't enjoy the gig that much because I was so god damn drunk. Haha.

@ kotti very metal-based list, but it really includes some bands I'd like to see (and some I absolutely wouldn't, but that's to be expected). I'm especially jealous of seeing Scar Symmetry and Warmen :laugh:

just saw dance gavin dance, iwrestledabearonce, and in fear and faith this week. saw godspeed you! black emperor in chicago last weekend. saw tera melos and marnie stern about a week before that. and i'm seeing charlie sheen on tuesday (seriously) :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

and oh yeah, seeing rush next friday. they are filming a live dvd and playing all of moving pictures!!!

and a few other shows i might be going to in the next couple of months:
-protest the hero, tesseract
-dredg, the dear hunter
-the human abstract, scale the summit
-warped tour

@Maartah: I normally only go to metal festivals, hence the metal-based list. Scar Symmetry was pretty good, especially their bassist who in the end of the gig jumped off the stage and let the people (myself included) mess about with his bass. Warmen was bad, they had a bunch of guest vocalists with them (even Kotipelto, I was surprised) but they were clearly out of practice (can't blame them, it was like their fifth gig ever together) and they lacked energy.

Saw Disturbed, with Trivium and As I Lay Dying the other night.
Really good concert... although I would've liked Disturbed to play for a lot longer than they did.
