Re: The Instru-mentals - Experimental Procedures
It's too repetitive and standard.
Instead of repeating a section like:
A A A A
You should do something interesting like:
A A B C
or
A B A C
or
A B B C
or something.
You're too stuck to the "repeat melody phrase four times" format.
Also, if you're going to do seven minute long songs, change the dynamics, like loud-soft-loud or soft-loud-soft. You stuck to the same volume throughout.
Also, work on chord progressions and changing scales or keys, you pretty much stuck to one chord the whole song.
tl;dr - stop repeating the same thing over and over again with different synthesizers

I actually need to work on that a loot..
Once (if ever) I get a midi keyboard, It'll be easier to be less repetitive than just placing patterns and stuff..
Until then, I'll still try to be less repetitive

Go to Craigslist. I spent 20 bucks and got an M-Audio 49key MIDI controller.
You should also consider getting Reason 4. It beats the crap out of anything else.

Well there's another problem of mine, i have no space on this computer. I really need to get a new computer, I'm looking into buying like a specially-made music computer that has like midi ports, mic ports, and a whole other bunch of stuff built in to it, and all sorts of cool stuff.
And as for the craigslist thing goes, I probably should start looking. I've looked there for everything else, but not for a midi keyboard :P

I'm actually going to get Reason 4 on my dad's comp.
I already have FL Studio, Mixcraft, AND Ableton on here, I might as well have another :3

I didn't really like your previous albums, but this one is cool. Main reason being that I appear on 2 songs lol (well two versions of that song)

you're gonna be on the next album too lol.
I may even get other peeps to be on my next album, too. Such as my gay sister, mikey, some of my IRL friends, etc.
What's my age again?
