I've been trying to update it for days its a trident 3d something, and it sucks atm.
I know theres things that scan to update your drivers, but they cost money :\
Does any one know how to either:
Fix it somehow.
Get a free driver scanner
or is there a way to change your driver for free?
Sorry im a newb at this.

Re: Graphic driver update...
Go to Start>Run>dxdiag and post of screen shot of the 'Display' tab, because 'trident 3d something' just doesn't cut it for me.

Drivers never cost money.
Use Dxdiag to find out exactly what video card you have before trying anything further.
You don't need any tools to update your drivers. You just need some sense and knowledge of your system.

Re: Graphic driver update...
Trident's official website sucks. Their driver download page goes to a dead link:
http://www.tridentmicro.com/site/go.asp?dest=drivers
You might have to install a driver supplied by a 3rd party, such as here (I make no guarantees about this site):
http://www.opendrivers.com/categorycomp ... nload.html
But more importantly, 8MB of video memory is NOT going to cut it to play FoF. Spend $40 to get a better video card.

A **** video card isn't going to magically get good with a driver update. Rarely do driver updates increase performance enough to matter.
