once u click netplay there are a few different options, client, p2p, and something else...i havent played around w. client or the other, but im assuming you join a server (prolly the chicago one) then somewhere near lower left look for like host game or something....in P2P you can either host it by clicking the host tab, or connect to someone by entering their IP

Mortal Kombat 4: Plays fine offline, Online the graphics in the backgrounds all clip and scramble, doesn't effect gameplay much but its ugly and no fun.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy: Plays fine offline, lots of slowdown online.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3: Plays offline, won't play Online.

Killer Instinct Gold: Doesn't play Offline or Online, not emulated 100% mass slow down.

Mupen64
Mortal Kombat 4: Plays fine offline, won't detect controllers online.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy: Plays fine offline, Plays fine online with amazingly very little button loss and delay.


ETC. Since N64 only has 3 games Its not a big list, but anyway, you just have to tinker with them and see how they work best in various emulators

but why play 3 N64 games when you can play 1000's of arcade machines online i do not know.

i have 3 emus, but i'm deleting 1964. project 64 seems to be the best for me, at least with Paper Mario.

Yeah, I used to use Project64. I downloaded a torrent with like.. 75% of all N64 games. It was a good laugh for a while. Not sure if I still have them...

ok, jsut saw the thread talking about getting illegal stuff, and torrents, and the like, and 1, i agree totally, and 2, i dont want to get a warning lol so from now on this thread is only going to be here to be a place for people to try and get up and running and playing against other, if it gets into the games, and ways to get them, i will lock this thread, and anyone whose interested can start pming back and forth instead

But Emulators aren't illegal, the roms are.

i should have been more clear, yes, the roms are illegal, but if we start talking about the enmulators, roms are guaranteed to come up, and eventually people will be asking where to get them

Roms are legal if you own an original copy of the game you are emulating.

Exacly... If you have the game you may download at ease... if not, you have 24 hours to delete it. At least, that's how I heard the Geneva Treaty was set... May have changed, though...
