I don't think I've ever posted on here about tools, so hopefully it's appreciated and not marked as spam.
One of the recent additions to C3 CON Tools I thought would be very useful to modders who try to replicate the Rock Band games.
You can now throw virtually any milo_xbox or png_xbox file (or milo_ps3 / png_ps3) at Advanced Art Converter and you'll get either a JPG, PNG or BMP file, along with the source DDS file.
It's all fully automated and pretty quick. Works with GH2, all of the RB games and expansion packs, and the DC games as well.
What do you get out of the milo_xbox files? Textures used in venues and animations, as well as other textures the game relies on. Stuff like backgrounds, posters, logos, even the font maps used by the games.
png_xbox files tend to be more static images, like album art and unlockable pictures (like in Green Day and Beatles).
I figured this would be useful to modders so I thought i'd post here. C3 CON Tools has a lot more features, but I won't go into details on the other stuff here to keep the spam minimal.
