We haven't seen trinidude at the forums for a while. If anybody knows somebody else that can compile software for Mac (and preferably provide support for the Mac users), we may be able to get a newer Mac version released.

Its in the first post. How come you didn't see it? EOF never had any installers, its always compressed as an archive.

Errrrrrr. I need version 1.6 lol. I'm having compatibility issues with a mac user (I use 1.65 and he uses 1.6, as that is the latest available for mac).

Do you happen to know how the audio driver is different since the upgrade? It's not using a proprietary audio driver or anything is it?

No clue, sorry. As far as I can gather, it's using alsa. I have no idea why EOF isn't working, and I never checked the sound stuff previously, so I have nothing to compare to.

Is there any chance I could get a version of 1.5? 1.6 hates Jam Legend, but my backup, 1.3 doesn't support crazy notes, solos, or SP.

1.5 is extremely old (about 17 months old). It may be worthwhile for you contact the Jam Legend developers to see if they need to fix something. I'd prefer you contact them first, because if you revert to version 1.5, we can't really support you if you run into bugs/crashes/etc.

I'm honestly not too concerned about that, I'm pretty sure I used it for a while and din't run into any problems. Also, I have talked to the guys at JL about it, and they really don't have the resources right now to look into it unfortunately.

Perhaps I could test out a few different versions and tell you where the problem occurs? Then you can maybe find out what changed between the versions and I can report it to the guys at JL?

The sync get thrown off when I upload it. I mean really off.

A bunch of you charts were published recently, and they're perfect. Not off sync at all.

I was still basically flying blind. I had to upload it and screw with the offset of the whole track until it was right, and it always ended up like at least a 16th note off sync in EoF, but fine in JL.

sorry to break the current discussion, but is there any way to live fret a song? you know, play the song and fret it as it goes? i tryed the basic fof and song creator, but it doesn't register most of hits,it's annoying. step by step is too slow, kills me

Yeah it is...Simply create or open your song as usual, and select in File -> Preferences -> Input Method "Guitar Tap" or "Strum", whatever you prefer. You can even auto-adjust them so even 32th notes are no problem - after that you can adjust them again with Piano Roll Mode..You'll need it when making a harder song

Yeah, just find a BPM, do what gunder said, and snap all of the notes.
