If your help is in reference to the overdrive bar along the bottom not line'n up correctly, It's because of your resolution. As of right now we have not been able to come up with a fix for it. The resolution this works best on is 1024x768. Inorder to get a universal look to it, we need some code changes and nobody has been able to throw any suggestions our way yet. Be patient, or just chnage the overdrive bar graphics back to the default for now.

I've created a new .zip file containing all the current visual updates.

Make sure you back up your original files incase you dont like the new ones. (The new overdrive bar does not work with all resolutions, and the overdrive fill bar doesn't work as intended at this point. We're still needing code work to be done to get these to work properly.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
As of right now 1024x768 is the prefered resolution!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

:::INSTRUCTIONS:::

-Just unzip the file into your MFH-Mod folder directly.

I've structured it properly. And seeings how treckzy has been working on his own version i've also included his files in a seperate folder. If you choose to use his, just go into the "data/themes/rock band 2/" directory and find the folder "----[Treckzy's optional mult graphix]----" and just overwrite the files in the rock band 2 folder.

:::DOWNLOAD:::
http://www.mediafire.com/?nmwwdwzzw5x

Download includes:

* New guitar multiplier (by kristijan_mkd & Dillusional)
* New bassgroove multiplier (by kristijan_mkd & Dillusional)
* rock_max.png (by kristijan_mkd & blazingamer)
* overdrive meter (by Dillusional)
* Smaller Instrument Icons (by Dillusional)
* Optional mult, mult2, bassgroovemult (by Treckzy and blazingamer)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:::BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES::: (just incase you dont like the new ones)
http://www.mediafire.com/?zkilniy0tkc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All graphics done by kristijan_mkd and myself.
Special thanks to treckzy and blazingamer for his edited versions as well!

Enjoy!

Well this Might Not Change A HUGE Effect but it makes a point .
This is a stage update that ive done
When i looked at the stages folder in the RockBand 2 theme it was 64 MB
Then Some How I managed to decrease the picture size ,and it went well
Nothing changed same pixels and all blah blah
after that I took a look at the stages folder again and it turned out to be 48 MB
Well is this big I guess because it saves space
So basically this is helpful by making this theme download fast and not taking a lot space

I tested most of the stages and they worked
so if any problems contact me

here your mult Dillusional whiout white line on left side, wanna know how i took it off?
tested gimp 2.6 on dillusional mult look white line left gone!!!

Image

Step by step

easy step one , load gimp 2.6
http://www.gimp.org/
step 2 import your png in gimp 2.6
copy layer ,
create layer 2
paste on new layer 2
delete layer 1 ( background)
save new file and there no more white line !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and all file saved in gimp r little bit smaller

i stil work with photoshop but when its time to import to game i import to gimp copy ,paste.., delete layer.. and then i resave in game

i hope this will help u and save u some time trying delete some white line that r not even there to delete in photoshop

if you dont find layer option go to (in gimp) ( windows/dockables dialogs/layer or just (ctrl L)

treckzy good trick with the gimp :wink: . Anyway i'm glad to see how my work little speed up the work on this thread, and more people are active now. And tnx to all who are making the modifications on my multipliers. :tongue:

Let's start doing something else now.. I don't have any idea what to do next... :blink:
I think we should fix next the overdrive bar resolution problem and also the code for the fill of the overdrive bar.. :smile:

Thanks for the tip treckzy. Gave it a shot and reuploaded the zip file.

I always think of myself as a perfectionist when it comes to things, and can be quite anal about stuff, but I guess i must not be enough because I never noticed those few white pixels. But thanks for pointing them out and the way to fix it.

I installed GIMP a while back when it was last suggested, but I never gave it much time to learn it yet. Thanks for that info. Quick question, wouldn't it be better to duplicate the layer instead of copy / paste? Aren't they essentially doing the same thing? Or is it by copying it, it creates a better cutout along the edges so when you paste you dont get the white pixelated edges?

*shrugs* just wondering. I guess i'll just try and see for myself.

Someone should try to make a version of RB2 theme for 3D glasses. that'd be pretty sweet, odd, interesting. :2thumbsup:

Dillusional ,i did not test duplicate layer in gimp. I was happy enough with my discovery to take off white bug pixel by cutting in photoshop, im new to gimp to i just dloaded it 3 day ago saw some one in forum he was using that, but if u test duplicate layer keep me up to date:)

I'm just going to go out on a whim here, and say that you have NOT updated to the most recent version. Sounds to me your having the stage pack error which was reported months ago.

Download 1.4 version of this theme. Look at the first post to find links. If you dont want to do the one large file version, look for the light version death_au posted. Links also in first post. Just make sure to download all the parts, most importantly the stage pack.

Just a suggestion: you could put the original RockBand2 Overdrive Neck? He is a little different than overdrive neck in RockBand1, it makes much difference but it helps to leave the Mod more real with the game.
