I must be weird considering the fact that the issue tracker is usually the first or second thing I look at in the morning...

As a matter of fact... the updates list would make for a great iGoogle gadget.

Anyway, nice job on r796/797. That should make a lot of people happy. :)

Progress committed in r798:

Spoiler:Progress on issue 108:
After a BRE score has been obtained successfully, "End Bonus" will change to "Success!" to let you know you nailed it.

"End Bonus" and "Success!" are now framed text.

Added support for two new theme files - brescorebackground.png and brescoreframe.png
Instead of using the soloframe.png, now BREs will use the brescoreframe.png to frame the temp score and the End Bonus / Success text.

brescorebackground.png will be centered and rendered behind the BRE temp score box, at roughly 4x the font height size (square).

These two new files are now included with the MegaLight theme.

---- EDIT ----

Progress committed in r799:

Spoiler:Progress on issue 108 - Adjusted BRE score box graphic positions slightly, and halved the size of the "End Bonus" / "Success!" text.

---- EDIT ----

Yes I am aware that the BRE background image isn't centered right, but that is not my fault. It is centered through code the exact same way the score box is coded to surround the text (they both should be centered on the same point).

... Now someone can go in and correct that image and center it IN THE IMAGE and it will look right. :)

I know in this topic there are drum sounds. It was just buried.

---- EDIT ----

Suggestion is make the you rock removed and make the highway move in. And make the highway entry fast for rock band instead of slow.

I have made some new drum freestyle/drumfill sounds, i cant still hear it properly on drumfills and probably nobody will untill the drum.ogg mute when drumfills start and turn the volume of the rest of the song a bit lower.

http://www.mediafire.com/?2mtunyj4ntw

MFH, i have something here that is bothering me, not a big problem but its something that can be fixed(i think). When you keep your foot down on the bass pedal each 2 notes it plays the bass sound on the second note, like BASS(keep pressed) GREEN RED GREEN, will play the sound of the bass on both greens, thats the only reason that i dont use BASS PEDAL SOUND that is on the audio options, is annoying.

And another bass pedal related "bug", if u keep it pressed and play any other pads, like BASS(keep pressed) GREEN GREEN GREEN, it'll play the sound just of the first and the third GREEN. Both basspedal "bugs" are just sound related, you dont miss any notes.

Iam sorry if u dont understand it correctly, its 4:00am and my english is failing lol, i can make a video later if you want.

I have already recorded and created an issue for drum freestyle sounds for RB1 theme (among others). The RB2 freestyle is altogether different (lower tom instead of a crash). I knew I'd have to wait until we had drum freestyle supported before I'd see any of those sounds implemented, and now hopefully it's coming soon. :)

I've set up a new FoFiX site. It has forums, roadmap/issue tracker and download system. And users can also upload their contents(coming soon).
http://FoFiX.co.cc
I hope you like it.

---- EDIT ----

Now, users can submit their files.

As i see in the youtube videos that the big rock edning graphic i gave you doesn't appear when the big rock ending starts there is just text "Ending Bonus" without box around it, and the score is in box, under the "Ending Bonus" text. When you finish it then that brescorebackground.png falls down with the score in it.

Re: Difference in screens....

Postby KillerQ » Sun Jan 18, 2009 10:19 am

KillerQ wrote:Hey all,

I have updated via the patch (from http://code.google.com/p/fofix/) from 3.03 to 3.1 and everything works great.

It also works fine when I install the full installer for 3.1 from http://code.google.com/p/fofix/ as well.

However, I have noticed one difference. When I start FoF with the patched version, the main screen just appears. When I start FoF using the full install, the main screen starts off black, and all of the menu options scroll up into place.

I figured that these were the same build, so the difference in the opening animation intrigued me, and made me wonder what other differences existed. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt!

I gues I could just ask the person who put the installer together (ugo247548?)? Does anyone know who made this installer? They would probably be able to answer this question....

Later,

Matt!
I'm happy with my Ion Rocker kit and Roland KD-8 double bass kick trigger!
