in case anyone cares, tried the new beta with a fresh ini etc and i dont find it any smoother. no new bugs that ive noticed, but i had the bug where it keeps playing the preview and had to shut it down and restart tho.

I'm trying to edit the wikipages and there's a "tags" parameter that I don't understand. Can someone help me define how to use it? Is it a boolean value on/off or what?

Hey, what neck rising style do you want, the one we have now or like the GHIII when it actually rises from off the screen. I have both but you can only have one because I don't want excessive code just for the POV's. Five different settings and special effects are already enough for such a little feature.

I like the current one, actually. If you made it REALLY like GH3 where the neck rises up and then all the frets appear one by one that would be cool, but I think I like the current zooming effect if there's no option for both.

Hey! just tested your mod. Here is what I've noticed:

1)If I hit a long note( x-----------------) and release the fret button, that note is muted, while in earlier versions, if I was releasing the note, the sound keept playing. The new thing is awesome.
2)Let's say I load a song. It says "Preparing...". After that it shows a phrase and then the song start noise comes in. But, instead of showing the fret board, it shows again Preparing... and then another phrase and after that the song starts.
3)If I miss a note, the scene animation is stopping. After I hit correcly a note, it starts again but with some black lines and stuff.

I can't wait for a non-beta release!

That's because of the "Mute sustain releases" option (that can be turned off, BTW).
Than != Then. It's != Its. Of != Have. Your != You're. Their != There != They're.

1) As BlackJack said, this is is a feature, and it can be turned off.
2) Yeah, I'm getting that bug in the 3.030 beta as well. It seems to load twice for whatever reason.
3) I noticed this as well, but it is indeed a feature (since 3.020) and can also be disabled in the options. Although the black lines seem to be a problem... Can you provide a screenshot?


EDIT: On an unrelated note, would the fact that hitglows display when hitting a single note be considered a bug? I don't think it's correct, I think that hitglows should only display on sustains, but I could be wrong.
I think it's been mentioned before, but there isn't an issue for it on google code, so I thought I'd ask.

i dont have that bug. did you use a fresh install? it works fine for me. first loading is preparing followed by the phrase after that the game starts
