Here is the 2nd beta of my Daft Punk theme for Alarian (2.8)
Lots of work went in to this. Custom sounds, stages, meters, etc.
It is fairly lightweight, but I'm sure you can make it lighter with your own buttons, etc if you want.

I would really appreciate it if you would reply with your screen res and (optionally) screenshots.
I used a few tricks to make it look right at 1680x1050, but I never did check it at other resolutions.
