Mods for version 1.2.512 FoF - I need mods for ver. 1.2.512

I'm semi-new at frets on fire, and I have version 1.2.512. The only mods that I've tried that work are:
Smoke mod
Lightning mod
Pink floyd mod (Somewhat working)
Ultimate
Darkish
and Nirvana. Could someone plz post some mods that work for ver 1.2.512. I would really appreciate it. I feel very limited in my options.
P.S. try to make the mods not too big, I'm using a laptop :b

Don't use 1.2.512. Its to buggy. Use a lower version of alarians mod.

Thanks for your comment! How do you get o lower version. I've found version 1.2.438, but I would really appreciate if you could tell me where to find ver 1.2.451. It seems to be very popular.

It's standalone and based on 1.2.451.

To install:
Download 2.63
Download 2.63 -> 2.63b and install the files where needed
Download Hotfix #2 and Replace library.zip!

I tried 1.2.451 and it was so terribly laggy! I couldn't believe it! So, I un-installed that and re-installed 1.2.512 and put my backup songs on it, but I forgot to make backup mods. so now I have to go and find them.

In some testing I just did I had this issue on one of my computers. Alrarian complete stand-alone Mod is the way to go--but it will be VERY slow if you don't have the latest graphics drivers.

Luckily my first machine I ran this on was a nvidia graphics card and worked flawlessly. Then I loaded the program on a box with ATI FireGL --SLOWWWWW in menus and in songs it was laggy and unplayable slow. I went to the ATI website and got the latest driver and now it is smooth as silk.

Right click, go to properties and go to find destination or something like that. Then open the .exe there.

Alarian (2.63b) works good on my ancient computer: XP 1700+, GeForce 4 Ti 4200.

The GH III theme is kinda laggy, but the RB theme runs nice.
