question bout modding - just getting some info

i ve learned how to make songs for fof now i wanna learn to make mods. like those that are posted. anyway is creating a mod fairly simple once you get the hang of it and how do u save an image as a png file to use as a neck for instance? here s the image i wanna use.

Here ya go. You just need to flip the image upside down before using it. It will look better if you had a better quality image to use also.

You make a folder in fretsonfire/mods with the name of your mod, in there you put the files.

In frets on fire, go to settings-game settings-mod settings and turn it on, that should do it

lol...i kinda figured that.....its just getting the stuff i wanna use to save right. right now i m workin on the neck and i can t get it to work ???

It depends on the mod. If you have a neck in one mod already, and have another folder mod with a neck in it, one will override the other, and it will more or less ignore the neck in it's own folder.

hmmm....i see. i guess i could try deleting the mods i have then try it.....i guess thats the only way to do stuff....by trial and error

i have.... i e even printed it out so i can look at it as i go through the process. the the links to his templates don t work

if the templates dont work just download one of my mods or pepsi's and open the files. you will see where the pics need to be and if they need to be upside down. just copy your pics and paste them over top and save. thats how i learned.
