I really have to thank you for doing this. You are, without any exaggeration, keeping FoF alive.

erm... you would need some pretty special keyboard drivers to map 2 seperate keyboard to different interupts.

its an interesting concept though.

I do not know when the next version of FoF will appear.

The next version of RFmod I think is less than 2 weeks away. Once I get HOPO working I just have some cleanup to do.

If you want to help, please read the HOPO thread in Thoughts.

So what exactly does this new version going to have?
So far I have seen HO and PO for sure but will ther be Career and/or Multiplayer also?

Well, seeing as there's been no mention of Career/Mission modes except by you on the forums, I'd say multiplayer and HO/POs are probably the fetures of the next version.

I'm not working on multiplayer currently. There's already code in there for it, but I am not sure what kind of shape it is in.

It's definitely networked multiplayer (not two people on same computer).

Rogue, you prob. get a bunch of suggestions but one thing that's hitting me is that being able to have a song in multiple 'lists' at once would be good. So you could browse and see all the GH2 songs or you could do a artist list or a song list etc.

I'm thinking this would be great for parties.

Any chance or is that just obscenely difficult?

Necro,
The virtual folders will allow the same song in multiple folders. It's something i'm working on (I was hoping this version, but probably the next).

basically you'll have folders like you do now, but you can put a filter on them and filter on an artist, or title, or genre, or even rating. Whatever tags you decide to put in the song.ini's.

Ok, that completely rocks.

Here's one other item that may...or may not...be easy. Display of the length of a song in the song details. It shows up during the song but having it before hand would also be useful to pick reasonable length songs during a party :)

(I kind of have a focus on the party time play :) )

I like that idea. Sometimes you can start a song without realising what you've let yourself in for. :)

And Rogue_F: I'm sorry if it seems like we're dumping alot of stuff on you to do. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that you are the single most valuble person on this forum, and you may have my first born child. Your work is truly appreciated.

Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.
