Inkscape help

I'm tryin to make some new neck skins but my images wont show up. I open up the neck.svg with inkscape, then I import my new image. I make my image the same size and put it in the exact same spot as the original image. Save it as plain svg. Then I replace it with the original but it wont show up when load up FoF. Any suggestions.

is your image just a bitmap or raster image imported into inkscape ?
or did you vectorize the image ?

You know what? I forgot to vectorize it. Thanks man. I'm new to all these programs, sorry bout that. Tryin to make stuff and help the community out. Thanks a lot.
