A: If you have a load of songs already and dont want to delete them, then move them out of the folder before you do this.

Delete your current fof,
Delete your fretsonfire.ini, and the fretsonfire text document (Start > Run > %appdata%/fretsonfire/)

Also, this mod doens't go into the mods folder, it's standalone, therefore extract and play. Make sure you put your songs folder inside the data folder, and if you dont have a songs folder, then you will need to make one.

Help...when i open the FretsOnFire.exe it closes after that...
I dont know more what to make...
plz help... :(

Post the contents of the file in Start > Run > %appdata%/fretsonfire/ (Not the configuration settings file)

Do you have this file?

If not, then I would recommend that you do this-

Delete your fretsonfire.ini, and the fretsonfire text document (Start > Run > %appdata%/fretsonfire/)

Update your graphics drivers, and make sure your desktop color quality is set to 32bit (Desktop > Right Click > Properties > Settings > Color Quality).

If you dont know what graphics card you have, then either go to your Desktop > Right Click > Properties > Settings and it will tell you in 'Display' next to the monitor, or you can go to Start > Run, and type in: dxdiag, and then click on the 'Display' tab at the top.
It is most likely that you will have an NVIDIA, ATI or INTEL graphics card.

Then try fof,

Just a suggestion, and I really don't know what I'm talking about but if anyone agrees, I'd feel a tad special.

And again, I really don't know but I was told Capo's mod included a hyperspeed ability by simply typing 'hyper'. Now whether or not cmod is included in RF mod is unknown to me as I don't personally use it for anything but if it is, or if the option was added to rf mod, wouldn't it be nice to have a 1player/2player toggle in the rf mod settings to add this?

My friend plays in hyperspeed 2 for expert songs cause he complains the notes are too 'clumped together' but i'm a nub who plays on easy without it. A toggle like the lefty mode option would be epic awesome in my opinion.

If this is already available please don't shoot me, just direct me.

You need to update your graphics drivers.

Look for your graphics cards drivers on the Intel site.

Somebody please tell me how to install this on FoF, I never used mods before, and the Read me was hard to understand.

Would it be possible for someone to re-post the RFMod 4 for mac, and/or update the link on the main page?

Currently, it goes to a filecrunch page, which looks like it works, but once the download becomes available, the link is broken.

Hey, I have a question (Though it might have been asked before, I apologize)

I just installed RF-mod 4 on my FoF game, but then I noticed that Tappable Notes/Hammer-Ons were then disabled.

I've looked but I can't find the right option to turn them back on. Help?

Hey, just got RF mod 1.15 but I can't seen to get it working. Every time I go to select the 'Play Game' option in the main menu, my game freezes. This is the only version of Frets on Fire modded or otherwise on my system, though I did have Frets installed earlier before I got this mod. The .ini file for this has been removed.
Any help?

1. Comps specs?
(either list them, or Go to Start > Run and type in dxdiag, and then please post a picture of the System tab and the Display tab, you can do this by pushing print screen on your keyboard, then open paint, paste the picture, save it, open up Imageshack, browse for the file, once it's uploaded, scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the 'Direct Link', then come here, make your post, click the 'Image' button, which is just above the post, paste the direct link there, and post the message.)
2. Graphics drivers up to date?
