This works great, thanks much!

I have no problem using two keyboards, and my PC has accepted input from as many as three at once. I've got two usb and one ps/2. The two usb are the ones that I use for FoF. They're both hooked into a hub, so that might change things...
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.

INCORRECT, ive gotten ppjoy to work on my usb

Will this work with the new Frets On Fire version?

No because this mod requires replacing the library.

If you're using this and are bothered by the high score bug (where it skips entering high scores if a key is pressed after the song finishes) or the song editor not working, here's v0.5 with those bugs fixed.

As long as I haven't broken anything important, I think that'll be the last version. Time to play with the new version of FOF!

To answer a few questions, no it won't incorporate features of RF-Mod 2.42 (I didn't even know there was one) nor will it work with the new version of FOF. Sorry

Ah, it's fine, I don't really like the new one. It looks nice and all, but it's a bit unresponsive with some notes. On Sweet Child O Mine on expert in the old version, I could get 5 stars, 99%. In this, I only get 4 stars and around 90%. Bit dumb. I think it's because of the HO/POs somehow...they didn't even help me in Jordan, just **** me over.

But I wasn't one of the ones who go "omg ho/pos plz" so yay.

Thats a shame to hear since the new FoF runs a lot faster on my machine. Do you think you'll ever try to make a new version?

I really like this mod and I was hoping it was going to be implemented in the new version, but no.
I'm sorry to hear that you probably won't implement it in the new version.
I hope someone else will continue working on this GREAT mod :)

I may port it to the new version, I need to see if I can get used to it. At the minute the HOPO has destroyed my ability to do the songs, and I'm not keen on the new look

look and feel of the game is always moddable. But it could be safer to wait for news from the Dev. team before trying to port it to the new version. Since it's a bit buggy right now I guess there'll be an update before long

i hope, and at this point, most of the people who want the splitscreen probably have 2 versions of FoF on their computes now... but i would like to have the multiplayer option in the new FoF.

We'll what RF have to say about it too. He'll probably make a mod too.
So you can wait implementing splitscreen.
It's great if you do :)

I have not had a chance to look at this mod at all.

Because the two mods are not 'compatible' (you can't have more than one library.zip) someone has to incorporate the other.

Right now he's building on my sources. I could also just take his diffs and put them in mine. I might try to do this before I release 3.0. It will make me feel like 3.0 has more things in it.

That would be cool. I'm happy to answer questions about it. The answers will probably be :

"I destroyed that part of the elegant structure of the program because (I was lazy)/(it worked and I didn't know why)"

or

"I did that in a stupid or very inefficient way because I couldn't be bothered to read a Python textbook"

but feel free to ask anyway :) Thanks for the excellent mod by the way.

lmao, that's better than i would have been trying stuff without a knowledge of python. heck, i can barely code the bouncing ball in a 1 sq in box that they have as an example by copying the text!
