Now I have tested the upload with the older version (2.6b or whatever) and it works.
So it has something to do with the new features in 2.62, doesn't it?

Please ignore my orthography and my spelling.
I'm German, so I maybe make many mistakes.
In darkness I close my eyes
A prayer to ease the pain
In silence I realize
The darkness will always rise!

Could add a beep that you need to line up with the beat in the "Set A/V-delay"-song...
This is how the feature will be:
Run "Set A/V-delay"
8 beats will be without notes
then you need to hit the notes right on the beat (when you hear it) or you can tweak the A/V-Delay during the song to try to make the beep (clapsound) line up with the metronome
After you've done the test, you will have the following:
Suggested A/V-Delay: xxx ms (as long as you hit all the notes)
Set A/V-Delay automatically (as long as you hit all the notes)
Back to Main Menu
This way, you'll either be able to set A/V-Delay by the way you hit the notes (taking individual reaction-time into account) or set it so that the notes come at the exact same time as the sound does (without caring about the individual reaction-time)

The answer should be in GameResultScene.py
If you don't find the solution, I'm going to post a solution when I'm back home after work today
Edit: IF it would have something to do with the Scorechart (doubt it) then it would be because you get more multiplier in RB-theme than in GH3 (Since you can get overdrive notes when overdrive is activated).

To Alarian...here is the finally your expectation...the 30 sec song with metronome guitar sound on each beat (100 BPM) instead of the first 8 sounds

Okay.
I just got my sweet new rig (HP Pavilion a6412p with Intel Pentium E2180, 3.00 GB RAM, and nVidia GeForce 8400 GS w/ 256 MB VRAM, all running on a Windows Vista home premium system), and so I've been kind of busy transferring stuff off of my external hard drive that's not mine back to the family computer.
Anyways, I have found a few isolated incidents in which the second note in a song doesn't require a strum. I played a couple of the Guitar Hero songs on FoF, and some or all songs have the working hopos. Carry Me Home, When You Were Young, Through the Fire and Flames, etc. all have working second note hopos. I'm not sure really what's different except that those songs start later, not right on the 1, on the 4-3-2-1 countdown.
I guess this calls for more test/debug songs.
In any case, I'm downloading 2.62 and hotfix 4 finished downloading, so I'll check those out here in a sec.
Now Norton wants me to restart the computer 20 minutes after I just turned it on...I plan to dump that later >_> <_<
PM me for my Wii or DS Friend Codes.

Since "DragonFail" "sucks" so much, I won't post anything related or about them any longer.

Spikehead - yeah, the whole "second note of the song requires a strum" bug is not making sense yet. The song.py is marking things correctly with relation to the first note of the song, nothing obvious has popped out at me yet.
I'm going to take another look now that I've slept a little bit and see if anything makes sense.
BTW - I recommend you drop Norton like a bad habit and get AVG free (free.grisoft.com)... takes way less system resources, free updates, free overall...
edit: I've tried several times to track down the "Invalid mode: Rb" error, and have not verified that scores get uploaded with this error. It happens right when requesting to upload the scores - it does not happen when upload scores are disabled.
I have examined the upload score code and could not find anything where Rb is even mentioned. Or themename. Maybe the site is rejecting the upload because of something to do with the version / settings tag that goes along with it... not sure.

At current is there a way to go back to 3d notes? I recieved a PM from fatdog, a very talented contributor over at the GZ forums, who is thinking about bringing a lot of his work over to FoF. I know the potential for them is already there in the code, as it's based off of mods that were designed to only use 3d notes, and was wondering if there already was an existing toggle to switch between, and if not, could one be coded in the next hotfix or full release version?
Might be working on DH2

myfingershurt wrote:The lesser themes load quicker... try GH1 or GH2 or 8bit - they have less features for the code to process.
You can also set stage mode to Blank, that should help loading times.
gh1 and 2 theme need coding, so i will not use them yet.
and i dont like the 8bit theme.
i will try the blank mode

UC mod had one, but that was buggy (notes were completely white with red dot for HO/POs).
Maybe a modder could DL the old UC Mod (god save his soul :p) and look what happened in the code...
