It's already in my development version.
One thing I noticed is the bass screwup sounds provided are not 'harsh' enough. I am not sure if that's good or bad, but it's definitely not a match to the current guitar screwup sounds.
What do other people think?

Did anybody manage to compile the mod on Linux?
I'm failing at compiling the Amanith framework. :(
After compiling the third party stuff it goes into the "build" folder and complains that there is no rule to compile the target gelement.cpp (which is in the src folder).
By the way Rogue_F, the new diffs are working for me now.

Uploaded a few preview.ogg files for Guitar Hero 1 (original artists in the preview)

Hey Rogue_F
Current version of mod sounds great. It is really coming along. Future developments are very promising.
A query though which I think I know the answer to...
Prior to the new version of your mod, to be able to play bass and rhythm/lead tracks separately, it was necessary to manually work on each of the GHII song folders, deleting one of the tracks in the midi file as necessary. If I were to upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0(1) to clean up all the additional "bass" song folders I have, would I have to undo this work and put the original midi file back the way it was? (I think I have the original GHII pack somewhere so it won't be a problem for me to do this)

I have not yet been succesful at compiling the linux development environment yet either, so that's on hold. Although the FOF authors do have the patches and may incorporate them into the next release (including linux)
ne1: you would not have to change things back the way they were, it should work with having separate songs, you would just need to select them separately. This is the way cama originally ripped the GHII stuff, by separating the midi's into different ones. I have both the GHII pack and the ones cama did and they both work.

Hey Rogue_F!
I'm wondering if this would be possible!
To replace the intro song on the menu with one that will randomly load from the song folder!
I personaly changed mine to another song but if its possible to load one from the song folder it would be awesome!
Just an idea i had, would be cool if you an try it!
Thx
BTW thx for all the work you do man!

Hi,
First, thanks for the awsome work you're doing.
Second, I don't think it's because of your mod, but several songs from GH2 seem to have something wrong with the bass: either it's not in sync with the main track, or it's from a different track altogether. It's simply maddening!
Has anyone else had this problem?
(examples:Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Strutter) - could these be caused from having cama's version earlier, or something?
BTW I'm using RF-mod 1.5
