I just downloaded the beta to give the partial stars a go. Good work. Will it apply to star scoring systems other than RB? I prefer the "gold stars for 100%" GH system, so I'll be slightly disappointed if it doesn't, but that's a whole different set of calculations, so I understand completely if it's a no.
Also, this may have been happening for a while, I have to go back and test some older versions, but my tutorial song isn't working. As soon as the countdown finishes, I get a message saying "Unscriptable object" and the song is finished (It says "You rock!" behind the error message)
I'm going to go look at older versions and my log to see if i can figure it out.
EDIT: I went back and tried some older versions i had lying around... I don't have every version, but i found the problem seems to lie somewhere between 2.969 and 2.972 (2.972 has the unscriptable object error, 2.969 works). This is in the middle of one of those unofficial patch phases where MFH was taking a break... This makes it a little difficult to track what "feature" broke it.
The log is unhelpful. I'll post a segment anyway (this is with the 3.00 beta patch)
I uploaded the entire file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?yoddgyckmuk
(I started, went to the tutorial, got to the error and quit)
EDIT 2: more poking around with different versions, and this appears to be the first one with the problem:

W.I.P
++Insert your name in an Options Menu Sect./Before Career Mode (Career Player)
++Show instrument you're playing
++Automatically set the upload score name for the name you put for Career Player
++Use image of instrument your playing in Game.
As of right now, I'v done all of that. It's useless, but gets a more secure cheating blocker, and more like Rock Band :p.

I posted this in the Rock Band 2 Theme thread, and figured i'd throw it in here as well...
Back in the day of WorldRave's GH3 mod, he used the overdrive centerlines, and i really liked the look of it, and ended up making my own edit of it and used it within Alarian long before it was ever added to his release.
Now that it was added i didnt really like the look of it. So I continued to use my own edited version and have finally decided i'd upload it for others to use if they weren't happy with the current look.

As you can see i made the center lines much thinner than the current one being used. I felt they were too wide and almost made me feel clostrophobic... ya ya... make fun.. :p
Here's a sample of what it looks like ingame.

Hope somebody out there will enjoy it.

Nice songlist, blazingamer!
Thought: if it's possible, add more cool fretboard animations like shaking on SP/Overdrive gain and sliding down on song end, when "you rock" message appears.
Bug: strange effect when you strum 2 of 3 notes of chord (with 2-chords only option). I can make screen.

Hi mfh...I dont know if this was mentioned before but anyway... Is it possible to make an option that allows you to have a static and animated stages together??? Like...If it is animated stage (in stages/folder) then will game loads automaticly like animated stage but it is only singel static stage (stages/stage05) the game will loads it only static. I hope you understand it.

yes...I have it...but I dont know that...I thought that has been added only multiple animated backgrounds
EDIT: I dont know why but the animated stages doesnt works...it loads only black screen instead of gameplay
