My opinion is that the server should handle any handicap calculation. If it's later decided that the penelty should change, it can be done easily, while if it's sent allready calculated it'll involve some more work.

Another thing. can we use the server respense to notify if a penelty was added. I think it would be better if the little text messege could be controlled fully by the scorechart (right now it seems that only a number could be specified and that "on the world charts" is hardcoded. That way any other messege can be sent as well (Higher score exists for this player. Server error. Cheating detected. etc).

for the handicap scoring maybe it could only effect when users use the hopo, or when double notes are strummed, or if they don't hit the notes when they are supposed to.there must be some variable to take some score off of?

BTW @MFH. i should have brought this up a while ago, but when I'm playing with Jurgen and lets say hes playing drums, now i think this is in co-op mode, just not sure which one, i only see the drum icon on the left side usually you see drums and guitar icon...

If you're talking co-op, I'll help you with that.

Anyway, it depends on the co-op mode and the theme you are using. If you are using an RB theme and playing anything other than Co-Op RB, the rock arrow will just be one instrument - it's designed, by the way, that "score.png" and "rockarr.png" have sort of band-looking images rather than specific instruments, if any theme-creators want to work with that.

Though if it only shows drums that would be a bit odd. If you can give me the specific settings/mode you're in, I'll check it out.

How can i disable failing? it seems to me the "Failing" option doesnt work. Im using fofix 3.030, 3.035b1, 3.035b2. Recent beta 3.100 consider no fail as cheat which is a HUGE letdown.

Thanks.

I just had a quick couple of questions,

first, I put the tutorial from the original FOF into my songs folder, but in the game when I go to Training/Tutorial, it says "no tutorial found." is there a different place the files need to go?

second, the Big Rock Endings are working great for me except on some songs the guitar is super quiet during the BRE. The main one I noticed is Detroit Rock City by KISS. Is this a problem with the song or the program?

Thanks for any help

RB1 theme? RB2? And which co-op mode gives you the wrong arrow?

It still just pops up that stupid "CHEATER!" one, and you cant even get a score screenshot.
Yes, and it's done in the latest alphas.

Ok so you can have a score, but that's not what I would call a "score screen".

Tutorial songs should be placed in data/tutorials, not data/songs.

Is the silent BRE due to missing notes before the BRE and not "activiting" the audio before it by hitting notes?
