Hering mod - Song failing, open fret, more to come

Whenever I try to start a song it gives me a black screen and I have to ctrl+alt+delete out of the game...

I did what the folders said... what did I do wrong? ;_;

Maybe you need a fresh install and install with order these mods.. :RF-mod 3.5 C-MOD 4 ONEO'S ROCK METER MOD raphs GH mod AND FINALY HERINE'S MOD..

Now if you have the 1.2.x.x version just make a clean install and add herines mod

Config problem, go to hering mod settings, and change the failing difficulty setting around.

Then go to your fretsonfire.ini and change the point difficulty at [game] to 1, 2, 3 or 4.

If you don't find a solution,A good solution is to download hering's compilation in his sig that has His mod and all mod's that you need..and you simply put your songs mods folders inside data..Then you will have a fresh properly working FOF 1.1.x.x

Not if its a config problem.

I changed around the settings in the game config in an earlier version. That caused trouble in all the later versions for those, who ran the older version.
I need to remind myself to not do that again .

Have you tried to delete the fretsonfire.ini and see if that helps?

delete your fretsonfire.ini and restart. it should clear everything up and default rock meter will be running

EDIT: I'm too slow.

Version 1.3 of Hering mod out now.

New features are:
-A new Song parts/difficulty choosing menu
-Sounds played when activating/ending Jurgen Power
-Ability to disable flashes
-some bug fixes

Its a known bug, and right now I don't really know a possible fix for it. Instead there is a back button at the bottom of the menu.
If you cannot live with that, go to Hering Mod settings, and use the old RF style.
