Ok well, here we go again lol

New Career Creator v3.1

NEW - In version 3.1

*added Automatic titles.ini Creator (ATC)
*added Italianstal1ion's Career Setup tutorial (The Basics.txt)
*added the option to clear the song.ini directory(to save by default to the apps path)
*added new right click options on the ini editor (dbl right click to bring up those options)
*centred GUI startup position.
*fixed file output tree order (to prevent saving even after clicking cancel)
*fixed minor outstanding error handling issues.
*fixed minor graphical errors in msging system.
*relocated the song.ini directory bar and load/clear buttons.
*changed various GUI colours.

here's something I came across in career mode, its not too serious but I'll just mention it and if anyone knows how to fix it, then that would be great.

When I created a [title10] in the titles.ini, it showed up after the 1st tier instead of the 9th tier. I see the logic though - both [title1] and [title10] both start with 1 and so they would go together, but then I tried to change the title to [title90] hoping it would go after 9, but it didn't.

Don't ask why I have 10 tiers (it might be obvious), just help if you can

The names of the titles.ini sections are irrelevant. They're sorted by unlock_id.

Try tier01, tier02, ... tier09, tier10, etc., of course with your prefix (like "gh3_") before it and something like "enc" on the end of the encores.

dang thats wat i was gonna say lol its probably because when you have them as "tier1" and "tier10" it takes "tier10" as "tier1.0" because the other tiers were only one digit. so do what coolguy said and you should be good

Why do people keep making tails that are cut on the borders ? If you know the length it has to have, just do the tail _according_ that lenght. :/

That was my point, the tails for the RB theme that was shown are really good, and I find it a bit sad that it's all spoilt by those borders. :/
Seriously, don't tell me I'm the only one noticing it.

i have a suggestion. How bout, when you chose a drum song. It shows a stage of drums. We could have it as a prefix of drumstage1 or something. So when you pick guitar, it shows guitar backgrounds, when you pick drums, it shows drum backgrounds.

jrdnxxhero or MFH , I've got a problem. When I put the needed things in tier 4 like this:

unlock_require = Power Metal Mayhem Encore
unlock_text = Complete your Power Metal Mayhem tour first!


and all the songs are still unlocked. The tier 3 encore song are not unlocked yet but the songs in the tier 4 has unlocked except the tier 4 encore. It's same like tier 5,6,7,8 and 9. All are same problem. Any ideas? Edit: I've made this in each song.ini's.

You should name all the songs in the tier the same unlock_id tho.

4 songs in the same tier. put unlock_id = test_123 < example in the song.ini.

If this doesn't work, upload your ini's in the order of the setlist. Name the 1st song in the setlist, Song 1 Tier 1. I'll take a look

I've made it. But nothing happens. One tier has it's own unlock_id. I wrote the name same as in the titles.ini. Do I need to put all the songs in just one career folder or a pack of songs has it's own tier folder?

I still don't understand it. Can you make it for me. I want to make AlBelGim song pack into career pack. If you agree to help me, PM when you're done. Here's AlBelGim's thread.
