Found another problem with a recent patch; haven't used my RB drums in awhile since I do a fresh .ini every release, patch, hotfix etc. I had to reconfigure them and notice the kicker is green and the green is like pink'ish on the test page; I never remember it like that and since you can now navigate the windows with the drums I found I cannot directly configure my drums through the mod because it assigns them the exact buttons my guitar uses so I need to use joy2key which is not a big deal just thought I'd inform ya anyways.

Question:

I'm using a rockband wireless guitar to play.

While untouched, the whammy bar = 0
when I touch a little it goes to 32k
When I press it fully to the neck it goes to 60k+

Which guitar uses these settings?
pm me with the answer please

Just a heads up, if anyone could create me new menu text images with one more selection for the Rock Band and GH3 themes I will use them in the next patch.

If nobody does it before I am ready with the next patch, I will toss something together and it will probably look like crap. :)

I just need one more menu selection, at the top: "Career" (or whatever it's supposed to say in GH3 and Rock Band).

This new mode, which I will be extracting from Hero Mod 3.0, may not be fully functional in the next patch but I want to get all the main menu changes out of the way. Then theme-makers can solidify their themes and make them compatible and I can continue development without having to worry about theme compatibility.

They do; however,

1)Hero FoF does not have a "Neck" option in the main menu.
2)No Rock Band theme in Hero FoF anyway

Maybe I'll try to give it a shot. That font needs to be fixed, badly.

Thank you jacobo, it doesn't matter if it's perfect - I can work with this. Now I just need one for the Rock Band menu and I can continue.... then when better graphics get made I'll use those.

If you look at this screenshot of the Rock Band menu, it just has a "solo" option. I'm thinking that we could have a secondary menu to choose between quick play and career modes. What do you think?

here's the maintext from the project clone version of GH2 also (i kept to the original font but made it less bold so that the whole thing wouldn't go too far off the screen when centered):

That would save some main menu real estate... GH and RB themes would need different main menu logic. Hmm.

MFH that logic would be simple. See how the neck enabled menu logic is? Just do the same.

And for the text itself for that logic just set 1/6 for rb and 1/7 for the others.

Yeah exactly... I'm thinking we can get rid of Neck on the main menu as well and just have a "Choose Neck..." in the Settings menu that only loads the necks when it is picked.

So then we've got for GH-themed main menus:
Career
Quickplay
Multiplayer
Training
Settings (or Options)
Quit (or Exit)

and for Rock Band themed menus:
Solo
Multiplayer
Training
Settings (or Options)
Quit (or Exit)

Can someone make those into MainText.png's for me?

i can get one for gh1 and 2 themes in a matter of minutes if you're interested in them now.
