Great stuff so far guys... just wanted to ask if anyone had this problem I'm having with menu navigation since last hotfix; the preview button goes up a song and previews a song above the one I tried to preview also I'll push the back button slightly once and sometimes it goes back 2 windows.

*edit* actually another issue; cannot get out of the mod settings window now.

*edit#2* issue again; once I selected a song I was not able to go back it just kept bringing me back to the same window.

Using GH3 theme btw; not sure if that makes any difference.

trinidude already has it ported to Mac, and usually does. you can check the first post under 'Latest Mac Version' and follow the links to get to the hotfix.

Hi Wolferracing - great patch. I noticed two small issues:

1: The Neck select option in Menu Performance should be removed. I had it set to disabled and was wondering why I could not select a neck in the main menu. It went direct to selecting a song.

2. The Player options "Face-Off, Pro-Face Off" should be removed from the Menu "MFH-Arialn v2.936". Your new menu removed the need to have it here.

Cheers!

Edit: Just read your post again and you stated you had removed these two options. I think I need to remove my .ini file l8er

Edit 2: checked again with a fresh .ini. The options are still there.

Also, I have an idea for a feature. Maybe it's already been mentioned here (I've only read half of this thread), but anyway here it goes.

Make last.fm scrobbling for songs Played in FoF.
Also it theoretically can be used as sort of a charts database.
Like this:
When you play a song (e.g. Tommi Inkila - Defy The Machine, Guitar Part, Expert) and score like 123,456 points and 4 stars.
The scrobble script makes a song with artist name "Tommi Inkila" and title "Defy The Machine (Guitar, Expert, 123,456, 4 stars)" and sends the scrobble info to last.fm site.

There is also an offline scrobbling feature for last.fm when songs played and scrobbled are stored and uploaded to last.fm when you connect to the web.

That way you'll have your own score database, you'll see your favorite songs, you can check when and what songs other people play and their scores.

A lot of different software has last.fm scrobbling feature (Audiosurf, Winamp, iTunes, lots of mobile phone mediaplayers) so I'm guessing that this scrobble code is opensource and free to use for everyone.
Mess with the best, die like the rest!

sherranjjj001 wrote:well i made a new main menu text for Project Clone's GH2 theme using worldrave's gh3 main menu text proportions and its scaled correctly, but it wont fit into the space i need. is there a way for me to scale the text without it overlapping itself?

remember, the mainmenu.png can be any size and it will divide it automatically. You can have an image that's 640x1200 and it will divide it horizontally by two and vertically by six (previously 3). So just make you're image, then scale the full image down a little so it fits in your space for the theme.

++Take a look at BPM mode with a song that has VBPM - such as PH3's Canon Rock, or this Iron Maiden song
++++Fix BPM neck speed calculation; apparently right now, faster tempo = slower neck speed.

Wow!!! VBPM comes back! Thanks a lot!

Would there be a way to separate the Guitar Solos from the song section text at the top? I want to use them, but I don't like all the excess stuff.
