I'm not sure if it was my computer or not, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

Yes, I have noticed that too. I don't know why the neck does that. i have not changed any part of that.

Do you see it on default FoF-1.2.X?

I don't think so. It wasn't in the first beta either.

First of all: thanks for your great work.

Now, the mod is great: there's just one thing I don't like, and it would be very kind if anybody explained me how to fix that.

I play with default notes. And I don't like the white dot inside of the notes (as well as the blue dot when the note is a HoPo). Is there any way I can get the notes as they were without the mod?

Thanks in advance to anybody who'll help me. :)

Alex, asyou can see, that withe dot is a problem for many users, don't have any choice to make a RF without that withe thing?

I've never seen it on default 1.2.x, or on 1.1.x, which is why I thought I'd post it just in case.

It's worth noting that I've only rarely played 1.2.x.

Maybe you could also rename the 'HO/PO Key Style' to 'HO/PO Note Style'
I don't know exactly how you did it but since it's some toggle, it must be some kind of 'if ...' part in the code, you might just put back the original glColors in that part for people who will use the FoF's hopo style
so we could keep the (excellent) RF-mod's colors for the RF-mod's hopo style, style most of us will use anyway

I'm so happy this is coming up, I was really missing the alternate keys and artist sorting!

And for that neck thing, could it be related to variable bpm? I'm not totally sure to understand the stated problem but is it the same thing happening in that Count Zero song (I don't remember if it was sail your ship by or radium eyes...I think it's sail your ship). If this is the same thing, it's a 1.2.451 problem (at least it was in my GH mod)
I'll try Jessica but I'm pretty sure it's the same problem...so it doesn't come from rf-mod

Just thought about a feature Divra posted some time ago, the triple uploadscores. I just tried the karsus' compilation and saw that it displayed the 'progress' of the upload by showing which one is 'Done', don't know if it comes from Karsus or from Hering. Anyway, triple upload is nice

Hey Alex.

Just wanted to say , RF4beta works like a charm. My only issue is that jumpy neck thing ( not sure if that was FoF or RF) apart from that Cool Beans :) just spotted the update for RF so ill DL that now.

Cheers

Hmm... Dunno, never experienced such a thing myself. Raph said it was a problem of 1.2.451, I didn't see anything of the sort when I first tried it either.

Wait, you wouldn't be getting at the new version handling BPMs in a strange way now, would you? It slows/fastens the BPM with a bit of a latency and sometimes the neck looks like it "loops", like it goes ahead but rewinds to the last position and goes ahead again, kinda hard to explain, but yeah...

Thought I'd mention now that I can dissable note FX along with the fret FX, the hit recognition is much much better. Almost as good as FOF1.1. Kinda' sucks having no visual clues to show when you hit though. But hopefully you can get the glow thing sorted. Or Capo can work some of his magic.

Thanks for the update Alex,
Rex

The Note and fret SFX that are default in FoF have always been performance suckers.

That is why I had the toggles available for them.

Yeah, I was gonna say, I'm actually doing 20K points better on most songs. It very well could be your rig. I think I'm only doing better because of the double counted hopos. I don't feel any better. /shrug
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.
