I dont know if Im doing something wrong or if it is a problem of the Latest Patch but every time i try to play a song the game freezes...so i think im going to Re-install it..with no patch...or im going to put a different version. i really don´t know why this is happening.
NOTE: Im using Vista.I already Re-Installed the game with no patch and it keeps with problems....Help PLZ!!!

Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
edit: FINALLY I can post and PM again. That was mildly frustrating.
Qstick added code in r487 to implement issue 170, which everyone should know about as it will result in your HOPO frequency setting changing:
This will also affect the HOPO frequency used in any song.inis... here is the updated song.ini Wiki
FoFFF has not been letting me post, but since I originally wrote this post some more progress has been made.
Specifically, with regard to Puppetz Hero 3 frettings, there is nothing I can do about this. He needs to fix his MIDIs, I have no idea why he marked solo sections as G8 even way before I announced that would be possible in FoFiX. If he were to follow GH conventions, he would not have marked solo sections with MIDI notes. If here were to follow RB conventions, he marked the solos correctly but he HAS to mark overdrive / starpower on G#9! No idea who told him it would be OK to break GH / RB conventions, but it makes his songs play incorrectly with the new MIDI starpower marking feature.
I have no idea what to say in response to any of the posts above this. I will fix what I fix when I fix it.

HOPO Frequency settings are now:
"Least" "Less" "Normal" "More" "Even More" "Most", covering the same
absolute range of HOPO ticks as before (only now including intermediate
steps and eighth-note HOPO as the top setting)

That's how dB does adds solo sections. It was working with old solo marking, why can't we just use the old detection as well with the new detection, it looks like we got rid of the old detection for this new one.

True we could just include a song.ini file that says what type of midi marking it is. That way we don't have to change all of the song files

OK, a song.ini setting specifying this nonstandard format (FoF never supported solos before I got to it, BTW) would be acceptable. He never had starpower markings, it was using the auto-generated starpower.

re: Drum Bugs (issues 338, 339, and 340)
It looks like 339 is fixed for me but I need to play more to be sure, but 338 and 340 are still issues for me with the latest alpha. I even reverted to the revision that fixed the problem and its still doing it to me.
Here's a video example of what I see and do - Video
My ini in case its my issue.

Is it possible to insert code somewhere in the revisions that tells us what revision our code is at (say in the options menu?) or is that to much to have to take out for actual versions? I realize the SVN program tells us this, but it would be good to know SVN is updating properly.
Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
From Shun:
It's possible but that still wouldn't guarantee that the update has been fully and properly done.
If you've modified a file and do an Update it will simply merge the changes, letting your changes intact.

Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
Adding to that, most all the time you make a change and the icon turns red, once you commit it will go away, and when you read the SVN log, it will also show that change if it commited properly. I have been using SVN for other projects i CAN code and graphics work for over 6 years now, and haven't had any problems yet, so you should be pretty safe. But you got plenty of support here with MFH and evilynux and me when i can help. We're here for ya.
