Actually, yes it did, thank you Marvin. The latest hotfix should solve this problem, as I rewrote that problematic section of code. :)

here is some info on the connection lost bug

i deleted both the log in appdata and fof.ini and made fresh ones but the bug persists

edit: nevermind the latest hofix corrected it :)

MFH, when you fix the 2player rock/fail bug, are you going to make the failing persons fretboard dissapear?
If you do, are you going to implent a rockband sort of "saving" mechanism?

IE: Jurgen fails on TTFAF. I activate SP and Jurgen is back in.

Just curious.

Yay I actually helped MFH!!

Can't wait for next Hotfix too :D

EDIT Just realised something
If in the new Alarian a section is named solo, you don't have to strum... couldn't some noob name the whole song solo and not strum?

just my opinion but i think you should have to strum solos

you do in rb unless you use the smaller fb's near the base of the neck which i find harder to hit.

No, I don't plan to work on 2 player modes...



I never made it so you don't have to strum in solos, what are you talking about? I'm not going to either...

MFH, I installed the latest #13 hotfix and now the game stucks at the loading screen every time, I tried selecting different songs and instruments and tried many settings combinations and it just keep happening. any ideas why? the game worked perfectly up until hotfix #12.

After extensive testing, here's what I've found:

HotFix 13:

- game is stuck on "Loading" if selected song has multiple ogg files. Songs with guitar.ogg only are working as usual.

HotFix 12:

- only guitar.ogg and rhythm.ogg are audible.
- rhythm.ogg volume is too low.
- drumm.ogg and bass.ogg are muting rhythm.ogg

No idea, limited testing this morning, use older hotfixes until I get back and can take a closer look.

OK sorry it was they said before RB was relesed that Solo's don't need to be strummed. I haven't got RB yet so I never found out :D Oh well I'm glad that you do strum in Solos :D

I don't quite get how you trigger "Guitar Solo!".

Is it a Section name, or a Text Event you put in dB/MIDI Editor of your choice? ???

I think it's the section "solo" But I don't make guitar songs so I dunno :D

hey mfh, i was testing some hotfixes to see if i find where u deleted the "one core use", because its using 2 and fof lags alot when theres 2 cores being used, and its starting after the Gameplayoptimization hotfix, if u can figure out what u deleted to get back one core will be great.
