Create a .txt document in your UCMod folder named "Fretsonfire.ini" (This is if you have "Show File Extensions" active), and change your settings in-game.

No, leave it blank.

Do you think you can fix the problem with the disappearing notes? I.e., there are notes that have visible trails, but don't appear themselves. Most of the time they disappear in groups.

Don't use the FoF theme. Change it from Settings -> Coffee Settings.

Well, you could do that, but don't save it as a .txt! Otherwise it'll be fretsonfire.ini.txt :;):
Just create a blank file on notepad, save it as fretsonfire.ini and set to "All Files".

Killswitch its an effect that tom morrelo and bucket head do

and it cuts the sound of the note its like the whamy bar if you maintain Killswitch on a note that have sp path it gives you more

Morello uses toggle-switch, buckethead uses killswitch.

Is there anyway to make the Ho/Pos in this mod any..easier? I know it sounds stupid, but I'm used to worldrave's gh3 mod, and GuitarZero2...which are about the same...However this mod it seems it's harder to actually hit Ho/Pos,..making solos freaking hard as hell for me.

Sorry for the stupid/noob question. It's just that the game isn't exactly fun, if I miss the entire solo ... xD

i can't hit the hopos either,when i'm doing like:
