Some other people (but not everyone) have experienced this problem too, but I am not sure what the cause is.

The changes I have made to that section are mostly to REMOVE things that hinder performance.

Try turning off the stats, flames, notesfx and see if it makes a difference.

The only other thing i have wondered about is maybe the optimizations that my computer does vs yours. What type of processor and graphics card are you using?

I've playing with the setting (turning off fx, changing de fps, resolution, antialias etc) and there seems no to be an improvisation in the game performance at this point.

My computer is a PIV 2,4 with an ATI 9800.
But anyway, as I told u before, the gameplay was fast and smooth before installing the mod.

Don't get worry too much, I can play with no problem (even I've achieved top scores in some songs sine I've set the mod ) but its a pity to see it goes slow when it didnt happen before.

I don't know the internal modifications u have performed with the mod, but it's strange the game slows down when hitting the note, if u didnt change anything related to this.

The game speed and performance is normal, but when I play a note, the game performance turns slow down seriously (I'm talking about fps) , and after releasing it, the fps works fine.

This slowdown happens here too, but they are almost imperceptible, drops like 2-3 fps. I have a Athlon XP and Geforce FX 5200 too. This don't bother me while playing.

Not for me man
The relantization is quite noticeable in my computer. The game is still playable enough but it is very disturbing
Anyway I'll be waiting if someday a new version of this mod is released

And another thing: Bitween 1x-2x-3x-4x there is a flash when you exaple 2x it is ok, nut when you have 4x and play it in 4x mode there is flash still. So could you do remove option to next version? (Hardly explained isn't it )

That's always been there, even without the mod...
